What was the highlight of Axor Barajas Madrid
Love hotel and people, great place to stay in Madrid
Everyone was very friendly, the hotel was clean and well decorated. The only slight downside was that there wasn’t a bar near the pool, and the bar inside was not always open so if you were at the pool and needed refreshments there was nowhere to get any.

Best Hotel In Madrid, Have Stayed over 12 Times!!!
We have stayed at Axor Barajas more than a dozen times over the years and they always exceed our expectations! The room is so comfortable with soft bedding and black-out curtains plus a wonderful shower and bathroom. The bedding sheets are just right! The breakfast is a definite go to get your day started. Book at the time of your reservation or the morning of for breakfast, but the best deal is at the time of booking. The staff are fluent in Spanish and English which makes things much easier for me. The restaurant is open late at night and offers some delectable meals. We arrived after 11pm and we were happy to see such wonderful cuisine at that hour. The shuttle picked us up right on time and also got us to the airport right on time as well. Book your spot on the shuttle at the time you check-in. This will always be our go-to hotel while in Madrid!!!
I do not like that the air conditioner gets very cold at night during the summer months and too hot during the winter months. You can only choose your air temperature to be cold during summer and hot during winter.

We missed our flight due to staff shortages with Ryan air and had to spend the night at the airport. We booked into hotel next morning and staff sent a shuttle bus for us and checked us in early
Breakfast was cold We arrived at different times each morning. First morning were one of first there but had same experience 3 mornings
